Long profiles

This press brake, which was installed in Sep.2005, produces construction extension profiles up to 10 m long for ceilings, roofs, walls, and facades. Because only thin sheets are bent, the machine suffices with press tonnage of "only" 400 t. The rear upholding device for the sheet and the front support brackets prevent the long, thin sheets from slacking. This guarantees careful and precise machining and also enables safe handling.

The upholding device must not collide with the backstop. A special backstop construction is used for this purpose which provides for sufficient freedom of movement.
